Service Agreement Summary

Last updated November 4, 2026

This summary highlights key terms of the DriveGuard Home Warranty service agreement. Your contract documents in My DriveGuard control in the event of any difference.

Who stands behind your contract

Your contract identifies the obligor and administrator responsible for contract performance. DriveGuard Warranty LLC is an independent, authorized seller.

Term and coverage start

Contracts run for 12 months from the start date. Coverage begins 30 days after approval, or on the closing date when purchased through a real estate transaction.

Service fee

A service fee, stated on your contract, is due for each service request. Repeat visits for the same issue within 90 days are not charged an additional fee.

Coverage limits

Covered repairs and replacements are subject to per-item limits stated in your plan. DriveGuard may elect to repair or replace, and may offer cash in lieu of replacement.

Exclusions

  • Pre-existing conditions known before coverage begins.
  • Damage from acts of nature, fire, flood, pests, accidents or misuse.
  • Failures due to lack of maintenance or improper installation.
  • Commercial-grade equipment and cosmetic defects.

Requesting service

Service requests may be made 24 hours a day through My DriveGuard or by phone. Do not arrange your own repair before contacting us; unauthorized repairs may not be reimbursed.

Renewal

Eligible contracts may be renewed at the end of the term at the then-current rates. We will notify you before your renewal date.

Cancellation

You may cancel within 30 days for a full refund less claims paid, or anytime thereafter for a pro-rated refund less claims paid and any state-permitted administrative fee.

Regulatory notice

Home warranty plans are service contracts and are not insurance. Terms may vary by state; state-specific provisions are included in your contract documents.
